Plans are underway to develop an Outer Hebrides Wool Trail & Festival, with an initial focus on the islands within Uist & Barra. Our Vision is:
“To support local wool culture, from croft to couture, by facilitating inclusive collaboration, sustainable enterprise, wool tourism development and education throughout Uist & Barra. In doing so, we will work with and support diverse age groups, audiences and participants within our community and tourist visitors.“
To help make this happen we organised a pilot festival of events throughout June 2023!
